The DetailsClient: CMS Window Systems Solutions: Energy Monitoring, Solar and Lighting Date: 2017 Team: Effective Utilities
Since their inception in January 2006, CMS have enjoyed significant and continued success and are now listed as being one of the top companies designing, manufacturing and installing PVCu, aluminium and timber-aluminium composite windows, doors and curtain walling systems. External wall insulation (EWI) and building cladding solutions are also provided.
Effective Utilities made contact with CMS in relation to their annual energy costs. Business Systems Director, Martin, didn’t simply want to renew CMS Window Systems’ energy contract; it was also important to monitor the company’s energy usage across their Castlecary site. Through monitoring the wholesale power markets closely, Effective Utilities was able to secure a saving on CMS’s new electricity contract.
At Effective Utilities we go the extra mile to meet customer requirements and were, therefore, able to provide CMS Window Systems with specialised energy monitoring software. This software enables the company to track their energy usage across the business in order to identify where consumption is unusually high. The information that Martin received from the monitoring tool enabled Effective Utilities procurement expert’s to monitor the current energy costs at the sites, and provide detailed energy purchasing advice.
We were able to get CMS an improved energy contract, which included access to online energy monitoring as part of the package.
In addition to the procurement and monitoring services provided by the team here at Effective Utilities, we are also able to offer commercial solar and lighting upgrades as another solution to reduce energy consumption even further. CMS is now looking into these measures to help reduce their energy and carbon footprint further.
